A year and a half without a post....I'm surprised they don't shut me down or send an email. The sad part about the year and a half is that I am still in the exact same spot I was when I left off. It has been a rough time but I can't blame it all on my Mother's Alzheimer's.
She was finally placed in a residence on December 18 of 2006. Before that we struggled to have her make up her own mind....but that didn't happen. On December 25, (yes that would be Christmas) she was moved to a locked high care ward. It's hard to imagine that she was living in her own home a week before. Well she really wasn't living on her own, as I was there daily and moved in on December 4.
Add to that some pretty bad quilting slumps, lots of work (or me being at the office...wouldn't call it work) and lots of excuses and there it is. Same old projects but with a little motivation, I should be able to accomplish a little more in 2007!
Have added some new toys to my blog and freshened it up! I'm ready!
