As part of our French Canadian heritage, spring brings a trip to the Cabane à Sucre, or Sugar Shack. The sap is running and is magically turned to maple syrup. The Saturday before Easter brings a friends and family tradition for lunch. Yup, we eat like pigs....eggs, ham, beans, deep fried pork rinds, potatoes.
Here is Abbey....now 6!Michel and Gabriel, playing with camera phones
Karen, Jimmie, Abbey and Gabriel on the horse-led ride.
And everyone's favourite, the hot syrup on the snow! Mmmmm!

WOW! What a day you guys had. That looks like a blast. Your kids will always remember those kind of trips.
I hope we don't do A-1 and A-2 for awhile. Those look intense, but yours look great. We are only 6 in in the group so you can easy catch up. Anina helps out a ton too. Glad you joined us. Love Stacy
Hi Terri, I found your blog thru the Dear Baby Jane blog. You are GOOD!
Mmmmm! La cabane a sucre :o( Another thing I miss about Quebec. And I think this one may be close to home, 472, same as Drummondville!
Merci de partager!
Danielle
